เป็นหลักสูตรที่ได้รับออกแบบมาเพื่อให้ผู้ใช้งาน (User) ได้สามารถใช้คุณสมบัติต่างๆบน Lotus Notes 8.5 ได้ ซึ่งเป็นหลักสูตรที่ใช้สอนวิธีการใช้งานจะเป็นฉบับภาษาไทยทั้งหมด โดยให้ทุกท่านสามารถทำความเข้าใจได้ง่ายเกี่ยวกับการใช้งานใน Lotus Notes 8.5 เนื้อหาจะครอบคลุมถึงการใช้ Mail, Contacts, Calendar, To Do และหัวข้อต่างๆ รวมถึงการใช้งานคุณสมบัติใหม่ที่ทันสมัยและช่วยให้การใช้งานสะดวกสบายและรวดเร็วมากยิ่งขึ้น หลักสูตรนี้จะเกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้งานบน Lotus Notes Client เท่านั้น ซึ่งจะทำให้ผู้เรียนสามารถใช้งานคุณสมบัติบน Lotus Notes ได้ตั้งแต่ระดับ Basic ไปจนถึงระดับ Advance ได้

เป็นหลักสูตรที่ถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะทางด้าน Admin บน Lotus Domino Server และ Lotus Notes Client เป็นหลักสูตรแรกที่ใช้คู่มือการสอนเป็นฉบับภาษาไทยให้ทุกท่านสามารถทำความเข้าใจได้ง่ายขึ้นกับการ Admin ระบบ Lotus Notes โดยเราได้สรุปเนื้อหาคัดมาเฉพาะสิ่งที่จำเป็นในการติดตั้ง Lotus Domino Server และ Lotus Notes Client ตลอดจนคำสั่งต่าง ๆ ที่ Administrator ควรรู้เพื่อใช้ในการแก้ปัญหาต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้น ซึ่งทางทีมงาน 9Notes ของเรามีความทุ่มเทและตั้งใจในการทำเนื้อหาของหลักสูตรเพื่อให้ผู้เรียนทุกท่านสามารถนำไปใช้ในการทำงานได้จริง ซึ่งหลักสูตรต่าง ๆ ทั่วไปที่เป็น text book เน้นไปในเชิงของการนำเสนอคุณสมบัติของ software ซึ่งมีมากจนเกินไปทำให้ผู้เรียนมีความสับสนหลังจากที่ผ่านการอบรมไปแล้ว

ท่านจะสามารถทำ Configuration Lotus Domino ในระดับ Advance ซึ่งบางส่วนไม่สามารถหาเรียนในตำราทั่วไปได้ โดยเนื้อหาจะไม่ได้เน้นไปในส่วนของ Feature ใหม่ที่มีมากับ Version 8 แต่จะนำเสนอในส่วนของ Advance Feature ที่จำเป็นต้องใช้ในการทำงานหรือช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานให้กว้างขึ้น เช่น การใช้งาน

เป็น Course ที่ถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะทางด้าน Admin บน Lotus Domino Server และ Lotus Notes Client บน Opensource Platform ซึ่งเหมาะกับสภาวะการณ์ปัจจุบันที่ทุกองค์กรพยายามที่จะลดต้นทุนต่าง ๆ ทางด้าน IT ภายในองค์กร โดย OS ที่เรานำมาใช้ในการติดตั้งจะเป็น SUSE Enterprise เวอร์ชั่น.10.1 และการติดตั้ง Domino Server Version 8.5 เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนได้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจในระบบและคำสั่งพื้นฐานของ Linux เช่น คำสั่ง PS -ef,ls -l ที่ใช้ในการติดตั้ง ตลอดจนคำสั่งต่าง ๆ ที่ Administrator ควรรู้เพื่อใช้ในการแก้ปัญหาต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในการติดตั้ง หลังจากผู้เรียนผ่านการอบรมหลักสูตรนี้ไปแล้วจะสามารถทำการติดตั้งโปรแกรม Linux และติดตั้ง Domino Server Version 8.5 ได้ ซึ่งในแต่ละขั้นตอนของคู่มือค่อนข้างครอบคลุม ชัดเจนในทุกขั้นตอน ดังนั้นในการทำ Workshop ทำให้ผู้เรียนสามารถนำไปติดตั้งเองได้ และแก้ไขเกี่ยวกับปัญหาในการติดตั้งได้เองโดยไม่ต้องกลับมาเรียนซ้ำ และใน Lotus Domino Server Version 8.5 นี้ มี Lotus Symphony แถมฟรีมาด้วย สามารถใช้งานสร้าง แก้ไข เอกสารที่เป็นประเภท Microsoft Word , Excel , Powerpoint ได้ ซึ่งเป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งที่ช่วยประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายให้กับองค์กรของท่านได้

ในบทเรียนนี้จะอธิบายถึง LotusScript และแนะนำเกี่ยวกับการใช้ Syntax เช่น การเก็บค่าในตัวแปร ,การ Comment Code และ การใช้ Lotus Script debugger ที่จะ Track down error ใน Code นั้นๆได้ ผู้เรียนจะได้เรียนรู้เทคนิคของการเขียนโปรแกรมใน LotusScript ซึ่งผู้เรียนจะสามารถเข้าใจการทำงานของ Objects ผ่านทาง LotusScript Class หรือ Domino Object Model ได้, เข้าใจคำสั่งและการทำงานทั้งแบบ Front-end และ Back-end ได้ รวมถึงสามารถตรวจสอบความผิดพลาดบน LotusScript โดยการใช้เครื่องมือ Debugger ได้ และใน Workshop ประกอบด้วยตัวอย่างซึ่งแนะนำผู้เรียนให้เข้าใจภาษา LotusScript และการเข้าถึง Domino Object อื่น ๆ ที่จำเป็นในงานได้ เช่น การปรับเปลี่ยนคุณสมบัติต่าง ๆ ของ Object ใน Domino, การ create, update, delete รายการ, การค้นหาข้อมูล และการทำรายงานแบบง่าย ๆ โดยไม่ต้องพึ่ง report tools อื่น ๆ มาช่วย

ในบทเรียนนี้ผู้เรียนจะสามารถสร้าง Domino Application ที่เป็นลักษณะของ Workflow Application โดยการใช้ Lotus Workflow Tool มาช่วยในการพัฒนาทำให้การพัฒนาเป็นไปด้วยความสะดวกและรวดเร็วมาขึ้น. ซึ่งหลักสูตรนี้จะครอบคุมถึงการสร้างฟอร์มและการสร้าง Workflow Process ผ่านทาง Graphical Architect component ทำ Flow Chart, กำหนดสิทธ์และการควบคุมกระบวนการของ Flow ใน Application การ Design Workflow ,Testing และ Activation.สุดท้ายนี้จะแสดงตัวอย่างของ Documentation Precess , Running Parallel และ Straight Workflow.

ในหลักสูตรนี้ผู้เรียนจะได้เรียนรู้ถึงวิธีการพัฒนา Web Applications โดยใช้ Notes Designer ในการพัฒนา Applications on Web โดยใช้การปรับแต่งใน Design Element บน Form ,Table , Link ,View, Navigators , Frameset โดยใช้ภาษา HTML, CSS มาใช้ช่วยในการออกแบบ Web Applications ให้ดูสวยงามมากขึ้น รวมไปถึงเรียนรู้คำสั่งต่าง ๆ บน Lotus Notes ที่รองรับการพัฒนา Web Application ซึ่งในหลักสูตรนี้ในส่วนของ Workshop ก็จะนำเอาระบบใบลาอีกเช่นเคยนำมาพัฒนาปรับปรุงให้เป็นสามารถทำงานบน Browser ได้ ซึ่งผู้เรียนสามารถนำเอาตัวอย่างนี้ไปเป็น standard template ในการพัฒนาระบบอื่น ๆ ต่อไปในอนาคตได้อีกด้วย

หลักสูตรนี้จะให้ผู้เรียนได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับทักษะการใช้ JavaScript ใน Domino Environment เพื่อขยายความสามารถของ Applications ของท่าน
