My last words

I arrived in Bangkok on April 2, 2009, just 2.5 years ago. I was very happy with the second chance to be given to challenge Thai business again and I expected to stay in Thailand for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, however, I have to leave Thailand so soon by the sudden order from Japan to my regret. I really love Thailand, especially NEC Thailand and all members. I must say Khop khun mak mak krap for your great support and kind cooperation rendered to me during my time

.

In the previous President message, I stressed team work referring to “Network Centric Warfare by Admiral Togo” at the time of Meiji Era, more than 100 years ago in Japan. We have very strong teams and core competence in our company, like Enterprise NW, Enterprise IT, and Carrier solutions. In addition, we are now challenging new area of Cloud Computing where we have to combine all business elements and resources into one beyond the boundary of divisions. I believe we can learn how to achieve close joint work and communication from the lesson of Admiral Togo.

What makes us different from other companies is not product, solutions, nor funding capacity. I’m confident that will be human being and individual talents working in the right place. If we integrate well all our talents and human resources altogether, we can stay in the market with high competitive edge and excellence.

Alliance with strategic partners is also very important key to success. If our internal resources are not enough, we can get any solutions, products, support, and services from our partners dynamically and flexibly. Please maintain good and persistent partnership  with our solution and vendor partners. They will surely reward and return us favor in the long run.

Again, thank you very much for your heartfelt kindness and strong support during the last 2.5 years. I spent the happiest time in my life in Thailand during this time. I never forget all of you and please do not forget me, too. I wish from my heart every happiness and success of NEC Thailand and all of you! Khop khun krap and Sawadee Krap.
